Our vision is clear that it is based on the original teachings of the Buddha.
The Buddha delivered the Dhamma pointing the three principles; The Four Noble
Truths, Dependent Origination and the Three Characteristics of Existence,
which depicts the triangle shown in the home page.
Buddhism today has three major traditions, namely Theravada, Mahayana
and Vajrayana.
But one should understand it clearly that these three traditions evolved after
the passing away of the Buddha. Whatever tradition is not Buddhism. The Buddha's
real teachings are the three principles, which forms the Tri-angle. These are condensed
forms of the 37 Factors of Enlightenment.
Irrespective of the tradition, in order to get the real 'vision of the Dhamma'
(Dhamma cakkhu) one has to practice Buddhism as the Buddha taught.
That is our vision. Understanding these three principles and realizing them within is the
complete realization of the Dhamma. With the realization of this Dhamma one
would be able to realize the nature of oneself and the whole world as well.
That is possible only through mindfulness. That is the key to open the door of
Deathlessness( Amatadvāra) the state of the human perfection and imperturbability
of mind (Nibbāna/Nirvāna).
For the achievement of this goal we follow these two ways:
- Practice by ourselves and provide Dhamma teachings
and instruction on meditation in order to cultivate and develop the
'Middle Path' based on Sila (morality), Samādhi (concentration), and
Pannā (wisdom).
- Our teachings are offered to members, the general
public and the world at large through public lectures, Internet based Dhamma
presentations and meditation retreats.
